Cha Cha Tarantula

This was a project in my first year of DAE where we learned about Arduino and I taught myself some basics of 3D-printing to create a moving creature. The idea was to make some sort of dancing spider to make spiders a bit more cute and hopefully make them a tiny bit less scary in people’s eyes!

It was definitely a challenge to create something actually moving, when I had never done anything before that. But I have thoroughly enjoyed this and would love to experiment more with it in the future!

I would have loved to spend more time on the texture of the outside of the spider, but I sadly did not have enough time to pursue that. But all in all, I am quite proud of the result.
