Paper Hummingbird
This was my first proper 3D work, I was 14 when I started this. It is still standing proudly in my room as I see this as a bit of the start into the detail-madness which I am so incredibly fond of. All the feather have been hand drawn and then hand cut with scissors to then glue them onto the shape of the body. This was also where I discovered I am good at creating shapes, just using wire. Which I used for the Pencil shaving Chameleon, the Bottlecap dragon and most recently the Balrog for the LOTR project.
This one however, started off as me needing somewhere to keep my money, so I made this.
