Nicasie Designs is the work of Jelmer Nicasie.
For the last years, I have been creating an eclectic collection of works. They range from a dragon sculpture made out of bottle caps, to graphic drawings of different characters, to board games, to a wooden stool.
But if you look closely, you can find various connections between my works.
My earlier works mostly feature things related or inspired by animals, whether it’s a literal chameleon head, or a stool with insect legs. My more recent works have been more people-related; I greatly enjoy organizing game nights, parties, events. So a board game or a card game seemed like a fun thing to try to design next.
I’m currently working on a theatre decor for quite a big amateur musical. I hope to be able to add that project to the website soon.
